Just Playing.
Just playing around with the Canon.
With colour temperature and aperture and all that jazz.

Future Jobs
A good article from The Guardian, offering some ideas of what the jobs will be like in the future.
One thing that interested me:
"
… and careers that could be at risk in 2020
Construction worker "3D printing" techniques, in which solid objects can be constructed automatically from computer models, will enable buildings to be erected in a matter of hours.
"
Huff. Graphic design...Photography....Hmmm.....
Right now I'm going through the application process. I need to get on to a creative BA course at a prestigious university to secure my future.
I've been looking into doing a BA in Graphic Design at the following institutes.
- Chelsea
- Central St Martins
- Brighton
- Kingston
- Falmouth?
- Middlesex?
Ugh, but then again I really love photography and cinematography.
I think I'm certain about Graphic Design until I, for example, just watched A Serious Man, and that made me want to do cinematography; and yesterday I went to see the Taylor Wessing Prize which made me want to be a photographer; and then I thought I could merge the two like Gregory Crewdson!!
I also love fine art and fashion photography.
I just want to be happy, not work every hour of the day, have money, have a good job, not be too stressed.

Grr, this makes me want to be a photographer! Grrrrr! Most, not all, made an impression on me. Seb and I went around slowly, commenting on each before and after having read the placards.
The ones that stick in my mind....
- The naked man sitting on the bed with Britney Spears posters covering the walls.
- The woman travelling on the outside of the train.
- The woman who just got out of the outside pool in Hackney, standing in the snow in her brightly coloured swimsuit.
- The man sitting outside of the rented house with his cat.
- The two innocent looking girls who are actually criminals caught for organising rape and for theft.
- The ginger girl on horseback having just hunted deer.
Just Above = STEVE BARRIT
This year he submitted an image which was part of his final MA degree project. The project, a series of contemporary retellings of ancient Greek myths, saw Steve having to gain and lose weight, let his hair grow and even not wash for a week, as he was the central character in the series of pictures he produced. His chosen image was “The Solitude of Pygmalion,” based on the myth of the sculptor who fell in love with his sculpture. It shows Steve sitting naked on a bed in an untidy room, with walls covered in posters and magazine articles on Britney Spears.
